A few years ago, we were shopping and we read the label of a popular national brand of flavor mix. 3 of the first 4 ingredients were dextrose, salt, and MSG. Fillers, salt, and chemicals!...Even today, the first ingredient listed on most national brands is salt. We knew we could do better.

With Old Saratoga Spice Rubs, those words aren't just a slogan. We use our products at home so our families eat more of them than anyone. And like most people, we want to know what's going into our bodies and what we're feeding our children. That is why we carefully chose our suppliers and use ingredients most people can pronounce. We manually smoke our own salt rather than buying the liquid smoke treated hickory or apple wood flavored versions.
